This project involves implementing the fundamental tree algorithm in the attached paper, and then solving mine planning MIP's with and without the fundamental tree simplification.

One approach would be to solve small models to see how close to optimality the simplified problem is, then solve larger problems to compare performance.

One challenge would be generating or finding data for the general mine planning problem.
