Coursework Programs

The School of Mathematics and Physics offers the following Coursework Programs. To apply, domestic applicants visit here and international applicants visit here.

Master of Financial Mathematics (#32): 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent)

Master of Financial Mathematics (#24): 1.5 years full-time (or part-time equivalent)

Master of Science (#24): 1.5 years full-time (or part-time equivalent)

Graduate Diploma in Science (#16): 1 year full-time (or part-time equivalent)

Graduate Certificate in Science (#8): 0.5 year full-time (or part-time equivalent)

DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY

Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirement to PhD program is a 4 year Bachelor degree with Honours class I or IIA. Other qualifications may be considered for entry such as Coursework Masters degrees, provided that there is a research component of at least 25% of the overall assessment in the final year of the degree. English Proficiency

How to apply
Applications must be lodged through the School of Mathematics and Physics and should not be lodged until the applicant has the support of a prospective Principal Advisor (i.e., thesis supervisor) within the School.
