Maths Space

The Maths Space is a designated space for undergraduate mathematics and statistics students. Maths Space was opened in September 2007.

Maths Space aims to:

1. continue to establish and promote a mathematics learning community, by creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for mathematics students
2. provide a student forum, fostering horizontal and vertical student interactions
3. promote the discussion of current research projects in mathematics and statistics
4. further the connection with mathematics staff outside regular coursework through the set problems and organised social events
5. encourage and inspire students with mathematics career information, and contact with potential employers
6. foster contributions to Infinity magazine and other mathematics and SPS promotional material.

There is a blackboard site for enrolled students to access the list of current activities going on in the space.
