Transportation from airport
A taxi from the airport will cost ~$50 to the Brisbane CBD, and ~$60 to St Lucia.

Transportation to UQ
Translink is the Brisbane public transport system, and the website includes a journey planner to suggest the best route to take. From either the CBD or Soutbank, the easiest (and nicest!) way to get to UQ is by CityCat. The easiest way from the ferry terminal at UQ to the Great Court is to walk up Union Road. From Toowong and surrounding suburbs the best way to get to UQ is either by the CityCat from the Regatta terminal, or by the 412 bus. The bus terminal at UQ is directly next to the Great Court. Single journey tickets from the city cost $5.20, and can be purchased on both buses and CityCats. Alternatively you might like to purchase a go card which costs $5 (but fares are significantly cheaper) and can be purchased from train stations and most newsagents.
