During the last decade the various IVOA members had been working on about 40 different standards and recommendations. Many of them have been implemented by a vast variety of data providers as VO services, which in turn are registered in one of the standardised VO registries. Client tools have either been developed from scratch or existing tools have been upgraded to be able to ‘talk’ to those services. Apart from end-user GUI tools there are also a number of powerful libraries available supporting scientists and software developers in their day-to-day work. This talk briefly outlines the various standards and recommendations and also gives an introduction to some of the VO (enabled) tools and libraries.
