Napoleon's Influence on Science

Colin Kennard is a retired Associate Professor of Chemistry from the University of Queensland (1964-1999), and is a crystallographer. As a result of a 2008 BBC TV series reflecting on the achievements of Napoleon in Europe, he decided to review Napoleon's contribution to the development of science during his reign.
